Our Antelope Valley Community

First visited by Europeans in the 1770's, Father Francisco Garces is believed to have traveled the western edge of the valley around 1776. Through the decades the Antelope Valley has emerged as both a bedroom community to the Greater Los Angeles area as well as a thriving hub of aerospace technology. The valley has played hosts to such names as Judy Garland (The Wizard of OZ), Frank Zappa the rock legend, as well as being home to the Poppy Festival each year.
